Despite attacks from religious fundamentalists, collapsing economies and unprecedented global warming, the UCT RAG SAX Appeal is coming back harder than ever before on the 10th of February 2011. As it has been for the previous decade, magazines will still be sold at only R20 a pop, which really is quite ridiculous when you consider that a straw of cheap quality Tik is costing about R40 these days. Or at least, that’s what people tell us… [awkward clearing of throat]
Following on from all previous years, it has been confirmed that 2011 will see UCT RAG publishing yet another great SAX Appeal. The 10th of February will see 45 000 copies laden full of dangerous propaganda being disseminated across the Cape by our drunken and naked first-year sellers.
Although we were quite pleased to get onto Carte Blanche two years ago… for those who are concerned about the quality and sensitivity of this year’s edition we can allay your fears and tell you that there will be none of 2009’s tomfoolery in this year’s magazine. We intend to be much worse.
