Okay, okay. There’s a lot of confusion over this so let’s get it straight.
SAX Appeal
UCT RAG’s SAX Appeal is the notorious annual satirical magazine written and produced by the wonderful children of the University of Cape Town. Both loved and feared, SAX Appeal has a rich legacy of coupling literary genius with immature and insensitive jokes.
Although at first glance at our youthful, toned exterior one might not see it, there lies great wisdom and experience within our pages – we’re going into our 76th year, and we’ve been through a lot during that time.
Going by the maxim that the end justifies the means, we are protected by the fact that all proceeds (and there are quite a few proceeds- about 750 000 to be exact) will go to SHAWCO. Therefore it’s all for a good cause.
UCT RAG
